Paul has been married to Natasha since 2011 and together they are currently raising two young children.
Born to believing parents in Seoul, South Korea, he gradually became a follower of Jesus Christ through this Christian upbringing.
Before joining the ministry team at Gungahlin Bible Church, Paul was a qualified accountant with CPA Australia (2015-2025) and a lecturer in accounting at University of Glasgow (2014-2025) and UNSW Canberra at Australian Defence Force Academy (2012-2013). He previously studied Western history for a Bachelor of Arts and public policy for a Masters of Public Administration at Seoul National University and then for a Masters of Accounting and a PhD in Commerce at the Australian National University.
In 2026 Paul left his academic accounting world for gospel work. While serving at church he is also studying for a Graduate Diploma in Divinity at SMBC. Paul’s ministry at church involves preaching, prayer, leading and helping others grow as followers of Jesus.
